Founded in 1954, the Burger King brand is the second largest fast food hamburger chain in the world. The original home of the Whopper, the Burger King system operates more than 17,800 locations in more than 100 countries and U.S. territories. Almost 100 percent of Burger King restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees.
Burger King restaurants are known for serving high-quality, great-tasting, and affordable food, and a commitment to premium ingredients, signature recipes, and family-friendly dining experiences is what has defined the brand for more than 50 successful years.

SSP operates Burger King in  air and rail travel locations in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Egypt, Switzerland, Cyprus, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and United Arab Emirates. It has recently introduced the brand in new territories including Bahrain and Rhodes. SSP also launched Burger King at Athens International Airport, marking the restaurant’s first appearance on mainland Greece.

Cabin

Cabin is a luxury bar concept that offers customers a premium experience in a first-class environment. The décor evokes the elegance of travel in a bygone era, with chic upholstered bar stools and atmospheric lighting. Guests can enjoy a comprehensive range of hand-selected wines and cocktails alongside tapas dishes featuring British classics such as pork pies and Scotch eggs.

SSP has introduced the Cabin concept to some of the UK’s busiest transport spots, including Manchester Airport, London Paddington and London Waterloo. Cabin also made its debut in the Philippines with the launch of a unit at the T2 Terminal at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Beer House

The Beer House offers a wide selection of tasty craft beers at major travel locations across the UK to offer customers a change from the traditional ‘pub’. The concept, inspired by Dutch and Belgian beer houses, was created by SSP in response to changing customer preferences and purchasing habits in favour of premium quality craft beers. Our colleagues are as passionate about the beer’s origin, flavour, serving and presentation as our trained baristas are for coffee

Caffe Ritazza

Inspired by Italian café culture, Ritazza offers customers the complete espresso bar experience – from superior coffee made by professional baristas using the highest quality beans, to a wide range of hot and cold food.

The Ritazza team has been perfecting its craft for more than 30 years. Over the years, it has brought the Ritazza concept to a number of new territories, including the Philippines and Norway. Each Ritazza unit is unique, with coffee blends and menu choices adapted to suit local tastes.

SSP and Starbucks joined forces in 2008 and the partnership has continued to go from strength-to-strength, with SSP now operating Starbucks outlets at key travel locations across Europe. The Grain Loft

As part of our location specific offering, The Grain Loft has been designed to reflect the warmth and character of the north west of Britain. The menu has been carefully selected to feature the food and drink for which the region is renowned. Some of the menu highlights include the Beer Can Chicken sharer for two, beer battered Bury black pudding fritters, hand-battered fish goujons and chip-shop chips.

Launched specifically for the travel market by SSP in 2007, Camden food co.’s mission is to provide healthy, yet indulgent food options to time-pressed passengers. The delicatessen and market-style outlet offers a wide selection of freshly-prepared sandwiches that are ideal for health-conscious customers without compromising on taste. An extensive range of meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan and carb-free salads are available along with hearty and delicious soups.

The brand has now been successfully launched in other markets, including North America. Most recently, SSP has introduced Camden food co. to passengers in Israel and the Philippines, making it a truly international brand with universal appeal.
